Business Plan Development Lecture
Bill Thompson

I chose to talk about some of the wonderful things that I have learned in my Entertainment Business Masters of Science degree, in the Business Plan Lecture class.  One of the things that Bill Thompson has given us is a tool that I was reading about and it is a site called ofn.org.  The reason I admire what they stand for and that is to help others have an opportunity in life.  My company Tender Loving People Life Coaching is a life coaching company that works on the needs of others in education, spiritual and entertainment skills to help them be prepared for the outside industry.  Opportunity Finance Network Company, are opportunity investors that link communities and generations together.  I personally feel that having faith based institutions and organizations is a good thing for people not only people that believe as Christians or whatever faith, but also just to have some good guidance to follow.  I like the fact that they operate a financing fund, which makes loans to Community Development Financial Institutions, which in turn lend the capital to small businesses, affordable housing developers, community facilities, and individuals in low-income and disadvantaged communities throughout the U.S.  I would like to be able to reach as many avenues as this one day; this is great motivation for me to see all of what they do as a young and new coming entrepreneur.  I would like to be able to be of help, as I did in the military serving my country, and now my nation, community and people around me.  I love helping people and just want to make a positive impact in the lives of people that may be hurting or struggling.  I am not in the industry to become rich and make tons of money but having the heart to put others first will be my reward in return.  My business will grow and expand I’m sure because of what it stands for honesty, being tender loving when caring for others, and lending a helping hand.
